Dr. Margaret Chege, PhD

Dr. Margaret Chege is a lecturer in the Department of Physics, Kenyatta University, Kenya, where she undertakes teaching and research. She holds a Ph.D and an M.Sc in Environmental and Radiation Physics. Her research interests include radon isotopes particularly in traditional earthen dwellings typical to parts of rural Kenya, naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM), biomass-fuel pollution, and heavy-metal and radionuclide contamination of groundwater used for domestic purposes. Dr. Margaret has authored peer-reviewed articles and participated in national and international conferences and workshops.
Ms. Catherine Nyambura

Ms. Catherine Chege is a lecturer at Meru National Polytechnic, Kenya, where she undertakes teaching and research. She holds a Masters Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Telecommunications from Chongqing University, China, a Bachelor of Education (Science) Degree in Mathematics and Physics from Kenyatta University, Kenya and currently pursues a PhD in Physics from Kenyatta University. Her research interests include radon isotopes particularly in the perspective of traditional earthen dwellings found in parts of rural Kenya. Ms. Nyambura has authored peer-reviewed articles and participated in national and international conferences and workshops
Mr. Willis Gor Odongo Otieno

Mr. Willis Otieno Gor Odongo is an Assistant Lecturer at Kisii University Department of Physics. In the same University, Mr. Gor has served at different capacities and in different departments including Head of Department, Examination Coordinator among others. He is currently in an active research on radon concentration measurements in dwellings and underwater places. Gor is currently pursuing his PhD at Kenyatta University in collaboration with Hirosaki University, Japan. He has done serveral research work and co-authored articles in Radon and Thoron. He has a passionate liking for Radiation Safety.
