Bio
I am a Master’s student in Medical Physics at the Technical University of Kenya with a strong background in Applied Optics and Lasers. I gained hands on clinical experience during my attachment at Kenyatta National Hospital, where I worked on personnel dosimetry, radiation protection audits, CT simulation, quality assurance of radiotherapy machines and brachytherapy treatment planning and delivery. To strengthen my expertise, I have completed specialized trainings including the ELEKTA IMRT RTT course, a digital course on brachytherapy for prostate and cervical cancer and the East African Summer School on Optics and Lasers. I am currently writing a review paper on radon in water, which reflects my broader interest in radiation safety and environmental health alongside cancer care. I am passionate about applying my skills in radiotherapy, radiation protection and research to advance healthcare solutions, particularly in resource limited settings.
